This is a PowerPoint presentation that was given by the Eastern Cape department of education deputy director-general, Ray Tywakadi, at a two-day Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) indaba hosted by the Eastern Cape Human Resource Development Council. The aim of the indaba was to craft a plan to combat challenges facing STEM teaching and learning in the Eastern Cape. The HRD Council is an advisory body to the cabinet on HRD and related matters.
