ECSECC wishes to invite stakeholders working in local economic development (LED) to a webinar on Empowering Local Economies: Trade and Investment Promotion Strategies for Municipalities.
This webinar will explore the role of municipalities in stimulating economic growth and job creation through trade and investment promotion.
It will share insights gained from a pilot project with four municipalities, highlighting best practices on how municipalities can effectively package and market key projects to attract investment.
The session will also discuss strategies and interventions for supporting businesses and investors at local level, addressing barriers to trade and investment, and sharing lessons learned from municipalities in the Eastern Cape.
